About Us

Doncaster Small Animal Boarding is owned and run by Vicki, who is a qualified veterinary surgeon with more than 20 years of experience.

As pet lovers ourselves - with rabbits, guineas and reptiles of our own - we know what your pets need, and even if they take a bit more care than most pets, we can help.

Karen is our office manager and she processes all the bookings and is available to help with all enquiries.
Karen is available Mon - Fri, 9am - 12pm

Carla is our boarding manager and is in charge of the day to day needs of all the animals.

Chloe is a qualified vet nurse and cares for our boarding animals. She can administer any medications needed. Chloe runs our rabbit vaccination clinic and can provide nail clipping and grooming for rabbits and guinea pigs while they stay with us.

We have several other animal care assistants who help us at weekends and during school holidays. We have Oliwia, Jenna, Rosey, Belinda, Lani, Eve, Ebony and Bethany.

Rabbit boarding

Indoor / house bunnies

We have eight indoor enclosures available for house rabbits. Each enclosure is 7ft x 3ft and is suitable for up to 3 rabbits.

They have a hideaway hut, wooden bed, litter tray and hay tray. Fully heated in the winter and air conditioned in summer months.

Outdoor bunnies

We have eight outdoor cabins in our garden which have a sleeping area and run. ach cabin has a hiding hut, play arch and hay tray. Our cabins are 9ft x 3ft and are suitable for up to 4 rabbits.

In our outdoor lodge we have a further six enclosures that are suitable for outdoor rabbits all year round and indoor rabbits during the summer months. These enclosures are 7ft x 3ft and are suitable for up to 3 rabbits.

They have a hideaway hut, wooden bed, play arch, hay tray and litter tray. All accommodation can be adapted to adapted for giant rabbits to give them plenty of space.

Guinea pig boarding

Indoor piggies

We have seven indoor enclosures for guinea pigs. Five are 5ft x 2ft, and then we have two larger enclosures available for groups that are 5ft x 3ft.

Each enclosure has a hideaway hut, wooden arch and hay tray.

Outdoor piggies

In our outdoor lodge we have six guinea pig enclosures that are 6ft x 2ft and are suitable for up to four guinea pigs.

They have a wooden hideaway hut, play arch and hay tray.

Tortoise Boarding

Tortoises are housed either in their own tortoise table / vivarium or one of our indoor or outdoor enclosures. Our enclosures have a hiding hut, substrate play tray and heat/UV lamp. We can adapt housing to accommodate from tiny to giant tortoises as needed. Tortoises are given time in an outdoor runs with access to sun and shade (weather permitting)
